The Uzbek minister is on an Azerbaijani ship

The Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilhom Mahkamov, as well as a number of high-ranking Kazakh officials visited the RoPax-type "Azerbaijan" ferry belonging to the Maritime Transport Fleet of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).

Axar.az reports that they got acquainted with the ship in the Kazakh port of Kuryk.

Captain Ayaz Pirmuradov informed the guests about the capabilities and technical parameters of the ship. He said the unique ship is 154.50 meters long, 17.7 meters wide and 7.5 meters high. It is larger than the existing ferries in the Caspian Sea and has a capacity of 100 passengers, 56 tank cars or 50 trucks / trucks.

It should be noted that ASCO's RoPax-type "Azerbaijan" ferry was put into operation on March 1 this year with the participation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
