Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Etibar Mirzayev, who is currently in the brotherly country, met with Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli to organize the coordinated management of the firefighting forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) sent to Turkey on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, Mirzayev noted that fire, rescue, aviation and medical forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in the brotherly country on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev to fight forest fires in Turkey, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told.

Emphasizing that the purpose of his visit to Turkey was to organize the coordinated management of the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Mirzayev gave detailed information about the composition and capabilities of the forces, as well as their activities in the field of firefighting.

Turkish Minister Bekir Pakdemirli spoke about the scale of forest fires in the country and firefighting measures. Pakdamirli also thanked President Ilham Aliyev and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan for their support and assistance in extinguishing forest fires.
