Azerbaijan enacts law on reducing visa fee

Azerbaijan has enacted the law on reducing the state duty required for a single entry visa from 50 to 20 dollars.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today approved the law on making amendments to the Law “On state duty”.
Required for formalization of single entry visas in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan diplomatic missions abroad was 50 dollars.

With the amendment, the amount was lowered to 20 dollars.

Also, the requirement of paying 20 dollars for formalization of tourist visas and students studying on the basis of individual contract, 20 dollars for formalization of single entry transit visas, and 40 dollars for formalization of double transit visas was abolished.

Under the law, the fixed fee for formalization of all types of visas will be 20 dollars.
