Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev met with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Seyed Abbas Mousavi.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Hikmet Hajiyev.

"Thanks Ambassador Seyed Abbas Mousavi for paying visit to us. We have had indeed fruitful discussions on the issues on our bilateral agenda and reviewed ways forward," wrote Mr. Hajiyev on his Twitter account.

Note that Mr. Mousavi also made a Twitter post about the meeting: "Pleased to meet with H.E. Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We discussed the latest developments of our bilateral ties & issues of common concern and interest."
