Azerbaijan registered 1770 new COVID-19 cases

Over the past day, 1,770 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 3,788 people were treated, cured and released.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 24 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 468,943 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 427,493 have been treated, 6,251 have died and 35,199 are active patients.

During the last day, 12,781 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 4,715,715 tests were conducted over the past period.
