Baku and Paris sign a document on demining

On September 20, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Azerbaijan Zakari Gross.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by ANAMA.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on humanitarian demining operations carried out by ANAMA in the liberated territories.

The main purpose of the visit was to allocate financial support to the demining activities of the French Republic in Azerbaijan and the directions of support in this area.

In the near future, the two sides are expected to sign a document covering areas such as mine support operations, as well as assistance to mine victims, explosive ordnance awareness projects.
