At today's meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said that 2020 was marked by the liberation of Azerbaijani lands as a result of a brilliant victory over the enemy.

Axar.az informs that it was emphasized that the 44-day Patriotic War was ensured as a result of the leadership of the head of state, leadership skills, unequivocal support of the people to the President and close unity around him, courage and high combat capability of the Azerbaijani Army.

It was noted that the reconstruction of the occupied territories, the creation of modern economic sectors, infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, the restoration of a new international and regional transport and logistics corridor in the region are among the main priorities. The issue is reflected in next year's state budget.

It was noted that strengthening the material and technical base of the army in 2022, equipping it with modern military equipment and ammunition, further strengthening the country's defense capabilities and national security, improving the defense industry and creating funding for other measures is one of the main priorities.
