Azerbaijan recorded 1099 new COVID-19 cases

1,099 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan, and 2,404 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 18 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 479,814 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 449,047 have been treated, 6,433 have died and 24,334 are active patients.

During the last day, 12,274 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 4,814,503 tests were conducted over the past period.
