Azerbaijan recorded 1277 new COVID-19 cases

1277 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan last day, 853 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 15 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 494,067 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 474,514 have been treated and 6,692 have died. The number of active patients was 12,861.

During the last day, 11,569 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 4,969,881 tests have been performed so far.
