A Resource Center was opened in Birinci Dordyol settlement of Aghdam region within the project "Establishment of a Resource Center for IDPs in Aghdam region" implemented by the Regional Development Public Union (RDPU) with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Axar.az reports that the event was attended by the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Azerbaijan Quido d'Ambrosio, representatives of the Aghdam Region Executive Power, the Regional Development Public Union and various government agencies.

The main goal of the project is to support the IDP community in preparing for their return to the liberated lands.
