Azerbaijan recorded 2315 new COVID-19 cases

Over the past day, 2,315 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in Azerbaijan, and 981 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 22 people with positive test results died.

So far, a total of 514,289 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 483,559 have been treated and 6,869 have died. The number of active patients was 23,861.

During the last day, 14,053 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 5,095,973 tests have been performed so far.
