Azerbaijan recorded 1477 new COVID-19 cases

Over the past day, 1,477 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in Azerbaijan, and 628 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 21 people with positive test results died.

So far, a total of 517,802 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 485,232 have been treated and 6,915 have died. The number of active patients was 25,655.

During the last day, 9,183 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 5,117,481 tests have been performed so far.
