29 died of COVID-19 in Azerbaijan over the past day

2,420 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, and 1,358 people have been treated.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 29 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 524,788 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 489,032 have been treated and 6,995 have died. The number of active patients was 28,761.

During the last day, 13,827 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 5,158,035 tests have been performed so far.
