23 more died of COVID-19 in Azerbaijan over the past day

1924 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 1873 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 23 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 578,627 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 543,200 have been treated, 7,709 have died and the number of active patients is 27,718.

During the last day, 11,584 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 5,473,157 tests were conducted over the past period.
