Helicopter crash's victims were given status of "martyr"

On November 30, we lost a number of our officers as a result of a crash of a military helicopter of the State Border Service during training flights at the Garaheybat airfield in the Khizi region. I wish them God's mercy and patience for their families. This event is a tragedy for each of us.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev.

The Minister reminded that two servicemen were injured in the accident:

"I wish them a speedy recovery. Those who died in the accident are our martyrs. All payments provided for in the status of a martyr (allowance, pension, compensation, pension) will be paid to them. There will be housing and car security. All the tools provided by the state will be used to meet the needs of these families.
