Azerbaijan recorded 577 new COVID-19 cases

577 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection have been registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and 672 people have been treated.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 9 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 610,895 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 587,338 have been treated, 8,208 have died and 15,349 are active patients.

Over the past day, 6,777 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 5,757,381 tests were conducted over the past period.
