A magnetic storm is expected on this date

On January 13-14, mostly calm conditions are expected in the geomagnetic field.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory.

It was noted that calm conditions are forecasted in the first hours of the day on January 15, and a G1 class (weak) magnetic storm is forecasted at the end of the day due to the currents coming out of the coronal hole. The Kp index is expected to be in the range of 2-5 during the forecast period.
