Azerbaijan recorded 1151 new COVID-19 cases

1,151 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, and 543 people have been treated.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 9 people who tested positive died.

So far, a total of 628,166 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 610,023 have been treated and 8,550 have died. The number of active patients was 9,593.

During the last day, 9,344 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 6,028,671 tests have been performed so far.
