The new website has been unveiled of the “Justice for Khojaly” international campaign, which was launched on 8 May 2008 on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in order to raise international awareness of the Khojaly Genocide.
With a number of different features, the new website serves as a wide-ranging resource about the Khojaly genocide.
Detailed information about the pre-invasion condition of Khojaly town, its geography, history, economy and demographics are available on the website. A variety of historical facts on Khojaly published on the website prove Armenia’s territorial claims unfounded.
The website also displays photos and videos shot by local and foreign reporters in the aftermath of the Khojaly genocide, survivor testimonies, documentaries, articles on the Khojaly events published by international media outlets in 1992, researches by foreign authors, historical documents, etc.
A special PowerPoint presentation of the events in Khojaly which was designed within the framework of the “Justice for Khojaly” international campaign is available on the website. By using this presentation, anyone is able to deliver the truth about the Khojaly genocide to the students and staff of a school in which he/she studies or to the staff of an institution where he/she works.
The website which is a wide-ranging resource of important data about the Khojaly genocide is also an interactive platform allowing the public to take an active part in the activities of the international campaign.
The website provides detailed information on how to participate in the campaign.
The “Justice for Khojaly” international campaign calls all to contribute to the public awareness of the Khojaly genocide by using the methods and means available on the website, as well as other online resources of the campaign (www.facebook.com/JFKCampaign, instagram / justiceforkhojaly).
