President: An agreement reached on the Zangazur corridor

At a meeting between the President of Azerbaijan, the President of the Council of the European Union and the Prime Minister of Armenia in Brussels, an agreement was reached on the opening of the Zangazur corridor, including the construction of both railways and highways.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during a telephone conversation with President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkiye stressed the importance of achieving peace in the region as soon as possible.
