Today, I sincerely welcome the first meeting of the Border Commission to discuss the delimitation of the interstate border on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the best possible security of the situation.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from EU Council President Charles Michel on Twitter.

"This is a significant step forward after a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan," the statement said.

It should be noted that the meeting between Aliyev and Pashkina took place in Brussels on May 22, mediated by Michel.
