Police officer hit mine in Fuzuli

The officer of the Fuzuli District Police Department was hit by a mine, said the Prosecutor General's Office and the Interior Ministry in a joint statement.

Axar.az reports that on June 26, at about 9 pm, the officer of the Fuzuli District Police Department, police sergeant Ilham Salmanov, born in 1989, received various injuries as a result of an anti-personnel mine in the liberated Ashagi Seyidahmedli village of Fizuli district.

Injured police sergeant Ilham Salmanov was hospitalized, his condition is satisfactory.

An investigation is underway at the Fuzuli District Prosecutor's Office.
