Russia has imposed sanctions on 43 Canadian citizens

Russia has banned 43 Canadian citizens from entering the country.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The report said Canada had imposed sanctions on senior executives and family members of Russian companies in May.

In response, 43 Canadians were placed on a sanctions list and barred from entering Russia.
