After the completion of the construction of an alternative road to the Lachin corridor, the territories outside the former Nagorno-Karabakh will pass to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The purpose of the change is to provide a stronger and more reliable road route between Armenia and Karabakh. Armenia is currently holding working talks with its Russian partners, as the corridor must be under the full control of Russian peacekeepers. There is a perception in our working discussions that the new route will be of better quality and better," Pashinyan said.

According to Pashniya, Armenians living in Lachin and Zabukh villages, which will be under Azerbaijani control, will be provided with housing during the occupation.
