Azerbaijan unveils a number of population

The country's population has increased by 29,418 people or 0.3 per cent since the beginning of the year and reached 1,0185,784 people on July 1, 2022.

Axar.az reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the statistics, the urban residents account for 52.9 per cent of the total population, while rural make up 47.1 per cent of the population, The specific ratio of men and women remained unchanged.
