Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with Azerbaijani TV channels in Prague.

Emphasizing that the European Union is a very important partner for Azerbaijan, the head of state said that work is underway on a new agreement.

"The vast majority of the agreement has already been agreed, and the remaining issues are not of a very principled nature. New opportunities for cooperation in the field of transport have emerged. Because the geographical situation of Azerbaijan, modern transport infrastructure - East-West, North-South transport corridors are very important for Europe as well", said the President of Azerbaijan.
