We have been implementing our energy projects for many years. Simply put, the current geopolitical situation in the world has sharply increased the demand for our resources. As luck would have it, when all our projects were ready, the demand for gas in Europe increased even more.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this in an interview with Azerbaijani TV channels in Prague.

The head of our state said that we will increase gas exports to Europe by about 30-40 percent this year. This requires a large investment:

"We are ready to go for it and we are going. According to the memorandum signed with the European Union, we plan to increase gas exports to Europe at least twice in the coming years."
