Armenia violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 117 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Feb.26.

Armenian armed units stationed in the villages Berkaber , Paravakar of Armenia’s Ijevan district, villages Chinari, Mosesgekh of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Gizilhajili of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Kohnagishlag village of Agstafa district, and Kokhanabi, Agdam, Alibayli villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Chilaburt, Chayli, Yarımcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Namirli, Marzili of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands on Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli andJabrayil districts.


In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 118 strikes on enemy positions.
