At today's meeting of the Azerbaijan International Education Center, which is a founder of Qafqaz University, has been adopted a decision to grant management of the university to Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

It was told in the center, a relevant decision is aimed at increasing the efficiency of university administration. In addition to Baku Higher Oil School, Rector Elmar Gasimov will temporarily head Qafqaz University.

"Teaching staff of the university will continue their activity, as well as students will continue to study there", the center says.

Notably, founder of Qafqaz University has appealed to the Ministry of Education and provided information on adoption of the decision to close the university today.
