Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is visiting the country.

At the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan in various fields, and discussed the prospects of bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.

The importance of the Azerbaijan-Tatar business forum held in Baku as part of Rustam Minnikhanov's visit was emphasized. The parties expressed their confidence that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan will further strengthen the mutually beneficial Azerbaijan-Russia partnership.
