MFA condemned the burning of the Holy Quran

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) condemned the offensive action against the Holy Quran during the action in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

Axar.az reports that this was announced on the Twitter page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

"Islamophobic actions such as open hate crimes are not an expression of freedom of speech. We call on the Swedish government to bring the perpetrators of this hate crime to justice as soon as possible," the post reads.

It should be recalled that on January 21, Swedish state institutions allowed a protest action to be held near the Turkish embassy in Stockholm. During the action, the Holy Quran was burned.
