Azerbaijan and Russia will jointly monitor the epidemiological situation in the areas with cross-border natural foci of the plague.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.

According to the decree, the Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Russian Federation) signed on November 17, 2022 in Baku was approved. was done.

After the Agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must send a notification to the Government of the Russian Federation that the internal procedures necessary for the Agreement to enter into force have been completed.
