Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources Laura Lockman visited Azerbaijan to hold meetings with government officials and participate in the meeting of the IX Southern Gas Corridor Council of Ministers.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Ms. Lockman leads the Energy Diplomacy team at the State Department's Bureau of Energy Resources. He will discuss US support for Azerbaijan's energy projects, as well as Azerbaijan's importance in helping stabilize Europe's energy security, including the Southern Gas Corridor.
