Despite the observation of cold and frosty weather conditions, the protest action held on the Khankendi-Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan continues for fifty-six days.

Axar.az reports that the participants of the action showed high activity throughout the last night.

There were no incidents during the night at the meeting place, where security rules were followed at a high level.

As usual, the protesters opened this morning with the singing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan. Later, they performed songs in the spirit of patriotism.

At the same time, eco-activists raise posters written in Azerbaijani, Russian and English on both sides of the road and shout slogans.

The demands of the participants of the action remain unchanged, as they have been since the first day.

Thus, eco-activists and young volunteers "Azerbaijan is awake, it supports its wealth!", "Azerbaijan is united, it owns its wealth!", "Stop environmental crime!", "Stop ecoterror!", "Beregithe nature!", "Ecocidu нет! Monitoring also !" they chant their slogans.

It should be noted that a protest action is being held by Azerbaijani activists and members of environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on a part of the road under the control of Russian peacekeepers in the territory of Shusha, demanding an end to environmental terrorism in the Karabakh economic region.
