On March 17, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the Chairman of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Zaur Askenderov.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, confidence was expressed that Zaur Askenderov's visit will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan, including the mutual activity of legislative bodies.

The parties positively assessed the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Dagestan in various fields.

At the meeting, views were also exchanged on the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
