On May 26, an attempt to violate the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan was prevented by the subversive group of the Armenian Armed Forces in the part of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border passing through Zangilan region.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Press Center of the State Border Service.

According to information, as a result of the vigilance of the military personnel on duty at the border checkpoint, the movement of the sabotage-sabotage group was detected in time and necessary measures were taken, and as a result, 2 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Armenia were detained.

Other members of the diversionary group fled back, taking advantage of the complex terrain of the area.
