Turkiye's Supreme Election Authority (YSK) issued an official statement on the elections.

Axar.az reports that the head of the organization, Ahmet Yenar, announced that 99.43 per cent of the votes (inside and outside the country) have been counted so far.

He emphasized that all the information was presented to the parties participating in the election.

He said that according to the current general results, Recep Tayyip Erdogan received 52.14% of the votes, and Kemal Kılıchdaroghlu 47.86%.

Yener noted that according to the current results, R.T. Erdogan was elected as the President of Turkiye.
