The United States is grateful to Azerbaijan for its contribution to Europe's energy security.

Axar.az informs that Geoffrey Pyatt, US Secretary of State's assistant for energy resources, said this in a statement to journalists.

"We see great prospects for the development of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan," he added.
