The positions of the Azerbaijani Army in Kalbajar and Aghdam came under fire.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense.

It was reported that on June 2, at 12:25 p.m., the units of the Armenian armed forces fired from small arms at the positions of Ordumuz located in the direction of Yukhari Ayrim settlement of Kalbajar district from their positions located in the direction of Zarkand settlement of Basarkecher district.

In addition, at around 18:00, the positions of our Army located in the direction of Aghdam region were also fired upon by the members of the illegal Armenian armed groups in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed.

Adequate response measures were taken by the units of the Azerbaijan Army located in the mentioned directions.
