Weather conditions in Azerbaijan will change sharply

During the day of June 4 and from the 5th to the 9th in some regions, the weather will be unstable and it will rain intermittently.

Axar.az reports that Gulshad Mammadova, director of the Hydrometeorological Forecasting Bureau of the National Hydrometeorological Service, told.

According to him, it is likely that the precipitation will be torrential, lightning, and hail in some regions.

Especially in Balaken, Sheki, Gazakh, Ganja, Nagorno-Shirvan regions, precipitation will be intense and strong. The western wind will increase to 25-30 meters per second, mainly in mountain and foothill regions.

"Due to the expected torrential rains, water level in the rivers will increase, and short-term flooding is expected in some mountain rivers. Due to the expected strong windy weather conditions, the population is not advised to stand near high-rise buildings, large-trunked trees, and dangerous fences."
