The Turkish army is on its way to Kosovo

Due to the events in Kosovo, it was decided to send 1 commando platoon under the command of the 65th mechanized infantry brigade of the Turkish army to the region based on NATO's request.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Turkiye.

It is noted that the peacekeeping platoon will be deployed to Sultan Murad Gishlasi in Kosovo on June 4-5.

It should be noted that regarding the tension in the north of Kosovo, both Kosovar and Serbian leaders asked Turkish leader Erdogan to mediate.
