Armenia violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 132 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Feb.29.

Armenian armed units stationed on the nameless uplands of Armenia’s Ijevan district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on the nameless uplands of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Chayli, Yarımcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraaabad, Namirli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.


In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 132 strikes on enemy positions.
