The number of people infected and vaccinated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Azerbaijan during the last 1 week (September 11-17) has been announced.

Axar.az reports that according to information provided by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 142 new cases of infection were registered during that period.

127 people infected with COVID-19 have recovered.

So far, a total of 832,580 people have been diagnosed with the disease, of which 822,131 have been treated and recovered, and there are currently 147 active patients. 10,302 people have died so far.

According to the information, 3,012 tests were performed in connection with the identification of new cases of infection during the last week, and a total of 7,680,488 tests were performed until today.

At the same time, 223 people were vaccinated in the country during the last week.
