Moscow expects that after the delivery of the goods on September 18, humanitarian assistance to the residents of Karabakh will continue without hindrance.
Axar.az reports that Maria Zakharova, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said this.
"On September 18, as a result of the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross with the participation of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, food and medicine batches were delivered to the region simultaneously from both directions. We expect unhindered and regular humanitarian assistance to continue in the interests of the local population. We hope that the gradual improvement of the humanitarian situation in Karabakh will create conditions for the start of dialogue between Baku and Khankendi," Zakharova said.
