Azerbaijan fully restored its sovereignty in Karabakh

Five days ago, Azerbaijan fully restored its sovereignty in Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said these words in a statement to the press with President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 25 in Nakhchivan.

The head of state said that the illegal Armenian military units surrendered and accepted the terms:

"Humanitarian aid, including food products and medicines, was sent to them."

The President noted that Armenians in Karabakh are citizens of Azerbaijan.

The head of state noted that when Armenia started its policy of aggression against Azerbaijan, it also made territorial claims against Nakhchivan: "Under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev, the eldest son of Azerbaijan, the enemy was pushed back. But Nakhchivan was actually under siege."
