In accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev regarding the creation of new "green energy" potential in the territories freed from occupation, in 2022, AzerEnergy OJSC will build hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 10.5 megawatts each and a total capacity of 42 megawatts in four places in the part of Okchuchay passing through Zangilan district. The construction of the series of power stations (SES) has been started. "Works are already being completed at "Sarikishlaq", "Shayifli" and "Zangilan" HPPs, and works at "Jahangirbeyli" HPP have been completed.
