The Kalbajar Military Prosecutor's Office received information about the death of a soldier of the Azerbaijani Army, Vusal Orujev, as a result of sniper fire from the territory of Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the information received, testimony was taken, and appropriate actions were taken together with employees of the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technologies of the Military Prosecutor's Office.

A criminal case was initiated into the fact under Article 120.2.12 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, witnesses were interviewed, appropriate examinations were ordered, and urgent, necessary investigative actions were carried out.

The investigation is currently ongoing, all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with legal requirements and generally accepted norms and principles of international law.
