On October 2, an exhibition was organized in Baku within the framework of the 74th International Astronautical Congress.

Axar.az reports that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their son Heydar Aliyev participated in the opening of the exhibition.

After the cutting of the ribbon marking the symbolic opening of the exhibition, there was an introduction to the stands of the participating companies.

It was reported that the stands of 150 companies from 36 countries are presented to the participants in the pavilion of the exhibition, created on an area of ​​8,000 square meters.

The head of state and the first lady of the Turkish Space Agency, the Saudi Arabian Space Agency, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Indian Space Research Organization, Israel Aerospace Industries, the Italian Aeronautics and Astronautics Association, the Chinese Astronautical Society and other companies they looked at their stands.

It should be noted that the 74th International Astronautical Congress has reached a record level due to the number of sponsorship packages obtained by 22 companies from the space field. Thus, the Baku Congress has left behind the congresses held in Australia, Germany, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, and France regarding the sale of the international sponsorship package. The Congress has more than 30 sponsors in total.
