Axar.az reports that Dilara Asgarova, the mother of Azerbaijani citizen Farid Safarli, who is imprisoned in Iran, was informed about this.

He said that he spoke with Farid two days ago.

"There is no problem with his health. He has no hope that he will be pardoned. He says that he has hoped several times, but there was no result. When this happens, he feels bad. He asked his lawyer for a book to read."

D. Asgarova added that the appeal court has not been held yet.

"In the coming weeks, there will be information about when the appeal court will be held," he said.
