The volume of areas contaminated by mines in Karabakh

In the liberated areas, 147,988 hectares are highly polluted, and 675,570 hectares are moderately polluted.

Axar.az reports that Farhad Isayev, deputy director of the Education, International and Public Relations Department of the Azerbaijan Demining Agency (ANAMA), said this during his speech at the round table on "Protection of persons with disabilities and landmine victims in Azerbaijan".

According to him, about 900 settlements were demolished and moved.
